When we lived in Japan, I was an avid sumo fan. One of the "big" sumo wrestlers in the 1980s, Asashio, was an alum of the university where Mike taught (Kinki University--no joke!), and one evening we were invited to a large gathering honoring Asashio. Several other sumo wrestlers attended, including the heaviest sumo wrestler ever, Konishiki. Below is a photo of Mike, me, and our friend Tom, posing with the massive wrestler.

Imagine my delight when I discovered that Akebono, another famous (retired) sumo wrestler has made some advertisements publicizing one of my new favorite TV shows ("Glee") in Japan. I LOVE these!!
