Yesterday Mike and the kids joined our friends Drew, Laurie, and Sophie and 5,000 other committed citizens in a rally on the steps of the Oregon State Capitol...to urge lawmakers to maintain and find other funding to sustain our Oregon schools.
The kids patiently stood through 45 minutes of speeches and were good Oregonians standing up for what they believed in!

Oregon schools might have to shut down early this year because of impending budget cuts. It's not looking good...just one more thing to worry about right now, sadly.
