Guess the Palin family is not discussing celibacy around the dinner table...

Track Palin, Sarah's 22-year-old son, got married to his high school sweetheart (Britta Hanson) in May.

No surprise: they just had a baby girl...because that's how the Palins do it. Yes, the Palins who aggressively promote abstinence education in lieu of informing young people about birth control. Bristol Palin commented that abstinence was "...for me, my sisters, and my family, I believe that that's the right way." Interesting that she doesn't say anything about her brother: why should he be any different? Sarah Palin opposes educating young people about birth control and maintains that abstinence education should be the only option. I'm sure Ms. Sarah is happy she was able to convince Track to marry his girlfriend before the baby was born. In all likelihood, the marriage will not last. 60 to 65 percent of marriages among 20- to 25-year-olds end in divorce. I'm unable to find any studies showing that marrying while pregnant decreases the chance of the marriage lasting, but I'm guessing they are out there. Marriage and parenting are hard enough work without adding a baby into the equation before the relationship is established.

As studies have found, abstinence-only sex ed is not effective in reducing teen pregnancies or HIV. The entire Palin family is proving this fact. It's time to introduce the Palin youngsters to some condoms or the pill! How many babies does this family have to have (before marriage) before they realize that these people must be taught about birth control methods???
