In these dark days of homophobic bullying and gay teen suicides, one of the bright rays of hope is "Glee." Where else can we see an openly gay teen who is brave enough to be himself? "Glee" portrays his challenges sensitively and gracefully. This is one of my favorite scenes of "Glee" so far! Rachel and Kurt's voices complement each other beautifully.
I'd never heard this duet before I saw last night's episode of "Glee," but Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand were the ones who made it famous:
Achingly beautiful!! It makes me sad to watch it, though, knowing how Judy Garland's life ended.
