How's this for one?
We have these family friends--we used to go to the same church when I was a toddler--and my sister and I grew up hanging out with their youngest daughter, Cori. (Hi, Cori!) They had two older children, one of them a son named Gregg.
Gregg married a woman named Tami, who is one of my friends on Facebook.
Apparently, their daughter Kate is very interested in Japan and is studying Japanese...and she went to Powell's to buy some Japanese books. She brought one home, Reading and Writing Japanese, and when Tami looked at it, guess whose name was written on the first page? Mine!
I just love these types of "coincidences"! Nothing is an accident.
